Welcome to the website of the Labour Party in the South West.

We campaign from our most northern point in the Cotswolds, through Gloucestershire, Wiltshire, Dorset, Devon, Cornwall, Somerset and the former county of Avon, in and around Bristol.

From badgers to bus routes, farming to food banks, wind farms to wi-fi, and trains to trawling, we campaign on the issues that matter to communities across the region. Our aim is always to listen and work with residents so together we can stand up and make a difference on the the things you care about.

This site is to share with you our on-going campaigns; to let you know what is going on in your area; and to help you get involved.

Apologies to those who have raised issues here. We are expecting an update later in the year which should improve the site. In the meantime, the best way to follow news from Labour South West is through social media channels, here:

(Dec2017) http://www.bristolwestlabourparty.org.uk/ has also not been updated since June 2016. This could show consistency, but more likely these websites have become obsolete. They should be updated (DAILY), or DELETED. They can help Labour, or embarrass Labour.

Wasn’t there a General Election or something, Jeremy? Perhaps not worth a mention.

I just logged in to LabourSouthWest for the first time.
The most recent news seems to be March 2017.
Have I missed something? (or perhaps nothing happened).

Thank you. We probably won’t be able to go in November but will get to some events. It would be nice to see them listed here.

Why has this website not been updated since March? Has the tumultuous past 6 months passed your webmaster by? I’ve come looking for information on the SW Regional Conference, I am a delegate in need of information, please sort your act out and pitch in.

I have just sent the following via the contact form:
I came to the web-site to find details of the up-coming Regional Conference. No mention of it, even on the events page. The latest “Latest Story” was written in March. . On the page “Our Labour People” it does not even show that Luke Pollard is now MP for Plymouth Sutton.
Under the heading “About” is written “This site is to share with you our on-going campaigns; to let you know what is going on in your area; and to help you get involved.” I would ask why the site still exists if no information is ever given on it
In the past members in the South West Region received e-mails from Regional Organisers giving information about events. and certainly were given full details of Regional Conference. I do not complain that we no longer receive these, but I find it quite unacceptable that it is impossible to get the information about such events on the Nationbuilder web-site.

There is nothing here! I came to find out about Regional Conference but can’t find anything. I tried putting my postcode in the ‘Events’ section but apparently nothing is happening within 50 miles of where I live!

Can anyone tell me why? Everytime time, I log into this site it hasn’t been updated as it should.
