On Monday the House of Lords voted to reject cuts to tax credits until the Government compensates working people set to have their household budget hit.
But George Osborne has said he is determined to press ahead with the tax credit cuts. We need to continue building pressure on him and the Government to change course, or more than 3 million working families will be made on average £1,300 a year worse off.
In Salisbury we will be outside of the Library from 10 am to 1.00pm collecting signatures for our petition and handing out leaflets. Last week the response was really good so why not come and join us for an hour or so on Saturday 14th. It would be useful if you could let us know what time you can do but if not just turn up on the day. We will of course be handing out leaflets and posters for the St Edmunds and Milford by election as well!
