What does the leadership programme include?

Taking place over two in-person and four online sessions, the training will encourage women to sharpen their political narratives, deepen their understanding of power structures and feminist leadership, and boost their political strategy skills. Participants will leave feeling emboldened and purposeful, with a supportive new network of sisters from across the region.

  • Determined to make things happen, change lives and improve their communities;
  • Able to build strong relationships and motivate others.
  • Have some experience of running a campaign or project, either through the Party, their trade union/socialist society or their community;
  • Able to communicate, encourage and support others;
  • Creative and able to come up with innovative solutions to problems;
  • Prepared to work hard to help Labour win elections at every level.
